Make it work.
Select a workflow with a real owner and a measurable result. Integrate intelligent capability into the work itself, not a parallel demonstration.
XC / The method for making progress compound
Creating intelligent capability is getting easier. Turning it into lasting organizational progress is still hard. XC is a practical method for closing that gap – and making each gain the starting point for the next.
01 / The idea
Most transformations are managed as separate initiatives. A new capability is delivered. A project closes. The next begins almost from scratch.
XC starts from a different premise: every successful change should make subsequent change easier, faster or more valuable.
That means treating adoption, displacement, reusable assets and organizational learning as part of the result – not as afterthoughts.
02 / The operating logic
Three disciplines working together. One objective: progress that builds rather than resets.
Select a workflow with a real owner and a measurable result. Integrate intelligent capability into the work itself, not a parallel demonstration.
Measure routine use. Retire the old route. Confirm that the intended result has appeared in numbers the owner already trusts.
Reuse the knowledge, tooling and operating improvements from one success to strengthen the next. Test whether the gains really accumulate.
03 / The implementation protocol
Deployment is not adoption. XC builds on a disciplined, 90-day workflow protocol that measures what people actually do, what stops, and what changes as a result.
Choose the right workflow. Name the owner, baseline, target and credible mechanism for improvement.
Agree the plan, team champion, evidence rules, review dates and the old route's switch-off.
Complete real work, end to end, through the new route. The 90-day clock starts.
Check for at least 50% routine, unprompted use among intended users – not logins or demonstrations.
Check for at least 80% unprompted use. Confirm the previous route is off and exceptions have owners.
Check four consecutive weekly adoption pulses at or above 80%, continued displacement and achievement of the agreed target.
04 / What counts
An implementation only matters when the new way is used, the old way is displaced and the owner can see a result.
Relevant work is completed routinely and without prompting. Activity metrics alone are not adoption.
The previous route has stopped. Temporary parallel working has an agreed, finite end.
The owner's agreed measure meets its target, against a recorded baseline and review window.
Future XC case studies will distinguish demonstrated outcomes from illustrative examples, and method-issued verification from independent certification.
05 / Explore the mechanics
Power-law mechanics are easy to underestimate. Explore the difference between diminishing, proportional and superlinear change.
The same increase in input can produce very different output patterns. Drag to see how the curve responds.
